How the media is treating the hotel attack

Here is a sampling of the headlines on the websites of the major news networks:

FOX: Wolfowitz escapes rocket attack
CBS: Wolfowitz: Strike won't deter us
ABC: Rockets drive Wolfowitz from hotel.
CNN: Wolfowitz defiant after attack

The only semi-appropriate headline seems to be from Reuters: Rockets hit Wolfowitx Iraq hotel; Us soldier killed.

What makes Wolfowitz's life so much more valuable than the the life of a US Army Colonel, who was killed protecting him while he was on vacation in Iraq? Shows what kind of respect the media really has for US troops.

1. I did a double take on the Reuters headline

Like they had renamed it the Wolfowitz Hotel.

2. I like the one that says "Attack misses Wolfowitz" cuz it sounds like

"Darn, they missed him. Better luck next time!"

and this would be the second time since Wolfowitz didn't go to Vietnam. That's my headline

...was a quick stop at CNN Headline news. They barely mentioned it--too busy with the Concorde and some celebrity things.
