1. Joe, we're kicking you off the island.
Attacked five candidates in seventeen minutes. Bill and Al need to sit down and have a talk with him.

17. We need to keep Joe around for a while...
...just for the satisfaction of watching him finish a few primaries at the back of the pack.

2. I think there are others who should drop out before Joe
but I voted for him because I thought the current vote total was hilarious.

5. CMB and Kucinich
Maybe keep Sharpton in because he's at least entertaining. Kucinich and CMB aren't. It would be great if we could winnow the field down to the top 6 candidates, though: Dean, Kerry, Clark, Edwards, Lieberman, Gephardt. Moseley-Braun only holds a lead in IL currently, and Sharpton and Kucinich don't lead in any states IIRC. It's time for them to go, to give the others important speaking time.

6. If we are going for a "moderate" republican...errrr
sorry...Democrat.

It's going to be Gephardt. There's too many points against Joe. I'm a Deanie, but if I had to I'd vote Gep. Joe? I think I'd have to be drunk to vote for him.

8. When is Lieberman going to get the message?
He's going nowhere. He probably realizes it, too.

9. LIeberman sucks up way too much air
He really should go. I guess he's not going to because he's still ahead of some in the polls, but his candidacy is the most meaningless, IMHO.

10. No
Kucinich's is the most meaningless,I'd say, If i had to answer this question. Edwards is a redundant Gephardt, so maybe he should drop too, except he still leads in SC.

15. Whether or not you think he has a chance or not...
what Sharpton and Kucinich manage to do is challenge the other candidates on progressive issues. This moves the debate - and the race itself - to the Left. They are a balancing factor to the centrist movement of the DLC.

18. Agreed
The longer they hang in there, the better. They are my favorites but I am a realist.

12. I voted for the "Dick"
He looked so neglected there with no one voting for him. The "Joe" had plenty of support and since there's really no difference between the two, I voted for the sad case. Don't tell me there's no compassion on DU.

13. I'm no fan of Gephardt
but I would require only a toke or two off a joint for me to vote for him, where a vote for Lieberman would require me to be stinking, falling-down, blackout drunk.

14. I voted Mosely-Braun, but Kucinich should go to
Both have said there piece, we're happy they're democrats and have participated, but now it's time to give the mic to guys who actually have a chance to be president.

19. CMB
I like having a woman there, but she really isn't bringing anything unique or inspiring to the process. I think she and Lieberman ought to go, then Kucinich and Sharpton, then we'll see where we're at.

21. Why should anyone drop out now? It's good

to have all their views presented. The primaries will narrow the field, as they're supposed to.
