What were the best lines in tonight's debate?

I loved when he said that it insults our intelligence to ask what the middle class should be willing to sacrifice. Al's my hero!

15. I liked how Clark related his military experience

into an example of governance. Making sure that each person has proper health care and education, that their family is well cared for and that just as an army depends on it's soldiers and functions better when they are listened to......... The government is responsible to the governed. That this administration has not done that. At all.

I think his point was, "why are you making this an issue with me, when the voters clearly did not see it as a problem with *, Clinton, or others?"

While I agree that * has been a foreign policy disaster, a lot of the swing voters see FP as a * strength. I think he was trying to reach those people to say that there is no need to rule him out as a candidate since he had a governor's level of experience if they didn't rule out * for that reason.

It catches opponents in a Catch-22. They often complain that unions are bad for business; that the higher wages and health plans they're forced to provide make it impossible to turn a profit.

Well, then how can they possibly argue against the government essentially subsidizing business by providing health care?

He (or whoever writes his oneliners) is brilliant, and the man just doesn't get enough credit for it.

It raises a question though. If Sharpton is this great rhetoric, then why are his ratings unaffected by these debates?

Ah, I know. Because at the end of the day, nobody actually watches these debates (save a handful of DU-ers). I certainly don't feel like I missed a major event this weekend. ;)
