In New Hampshire, Dean ROCs!
This weekend, the dozen-or-so regions of the Dean Campaign
held their Regional Organizing Conferences (ROCs). These were
held around the state, in follow-up to the original Dean
Organizing Convention (DOC) we held back in (umm, err...)
September.

Each event has staken the Dean Machine to new levels here in
New Hampshire. Back at the DOC, we had something like 450
activists in attendence from a state-wide audience. Yesterday,
we had nearly 200 people in attendence JUST from the
immediate Nashua region. And while we were the largest ROC,
similar crowds were reported at the rest of the statewide
events.

And now the ROC teams will set out to once again increase the
size of the campaign by an order of magnitude. Can you imagine
1000 Dean activists (not just voters, ACTIVISTS!) in the Nashua
area by Primary Day? We sure can!

The Nashua ROC was held yesterday (Sunday) as an apparently large
number of us had a prior commitment on Saturday; something about
being down in D.C.. We met at Daniel Webster College in Nashua,
and a great time was had by all. There was lots of fun Bush
bashing AND lots of positive enthusiasm for taking our
country back. If you're an undecided voter in the State of New
Hampshire, expect to hear from one of us Real-Soon-Now!

With 92 days to go, things are looking very, very good for the
Dean Machine here in the Granite State.

Atlant

P.S.: There's still plenty of room on this particular bus, though!
Feel free to "get on board!" The next big Dean event where the Doctor
will be "in" will be a Halloween party in Manchester. If you need
more information, PM me.

1. More information...

2 days. 12 grassroots conventions. Over 2000 volunteers.

What's that?

It must be the Dean for New Hampshire Regional Organizing Conventions (ROCs)!

The ROCs follow the DOC – the Dean Organizing Convention. On August 10, four hundred and twenty six New Hampshire volunteers gathered in Manchester to design a plan to introduce Governor Dean to the Granite State. The plans were targeted, direct and personal. They incorporate all the resources of Dean for America -- MeetUp, the Internet, out-of-state volunteer groups like Mass for Dean, the staff and hundreds of volunteers. Two weeks after the DOC, Dean surged 10 points in the polls.

It’s time to do it again.

On October 25 and 26, over 2000 New Hampshire volunteers will gather at 12 sites across New Hampshire to plan for victory. The purpose of the ROCs is to give grassroots activists the resources they need to win the First in the Nation Primary. With less than 100 days until the primary, the time for planning and execution is now. Volunteers will design outreach efforts to bring the Governor’s message to the doorsteps, living rooms and mailboxes of 25,000 New Hampshire neighbors.

The ROCs represent yet another commitment of Dean for America to the grassroots. If you are interested in being a delegate to the ROC, please contact the Dean for America office in your region. The organizers will be happy to get you on board.

You have the power!
