FEMA and the CA fires...disaster for aWol?

Right after W 'took' office, there was flooding in IA. The admin said the state couldn't count on federal aid for damage where there was known possibility of flooding. IA voted for Gore.

Fires in CA: damage where there is know possibility of fires; CA voted for Gore BUT now Arnold 'in' but not yet gov.

And FEMA is stretched, sill dealing with aftermath of natural diasters.

And the reserve and national guard troops are in Iraq.

One of the things that really ruined the first Bush presidency was its inability (unwillingness ???) to deal adquately with the hurricane disaster in FL.
