What a right-winger thinks of the Dem candidates.
Get a load of this:

We are now approaching the beginning of the race for the Oval Office. As usual, the same tired old candidates are trotting out the same tired old clichés. This is particularly true of the Democrats, who once again are focusing their message on those who wish something for nothing, those who do not value work or sacrifice, those who contribute the least and consume the most. They are parroting the heinous line they have utilized for decades. No matter if the speaker is Dean, Clark, Kerry, Lieberman, Gephardt or Edwards, the diatribe is the same.

The author's name is Ron Marr. The site does not provide an email address; instead, there's a web form you can use to send him email. I think it would be amusing if he got lots of email from DUers today. Be polite!

1. I'd love to see Ron's house.
I'll bet the stupid bastard makes about $50k a year, and thinks he's rich.

7. Thanks for the Link:
OK, here's my letter to him:
Dear Mr. Marr:

You wrote:

"Yes, it is unfair Senator. If such people wish to volunteer money they earned, fine. But it is no more fair to steal their funds by government mandate than it is to take the last ten bucks from the night janitor at McDonalds."

All right, taxation is theft. The military should be supported by voluntary contributions.

Think about the ramification of that position. If that is your attitude toward the legitimacy of the American government, I don't understand is you can depict yourself as an American patriot. In fact, under the provisions of the Patriot Act, it's probably not very smart to be adopting that kind of attitude in public.

The "something for nothing" attitude IS a big problem today. If you to cut federal taxes, to be fiscally responsible you have to cut expenses in either the military, veterans' benefits, social security, or medicare. The president appears to think he does not have to propose any way for the country to pay for his costly initiatives. Does he realize all of us owe the interest on the money our country is borrowing? Do you?

9. Who cares what he thinks?
We could have a Dem say exactly everything this trog wanted to hear, and he still wouldn't vote for the guy anyhow.

They do nothing but tear down people just beacuse they have a "D" in their names.

10. RNC "TeamLeader" Talking Point
I received an email today from the RNC. Part of it read as follows:

"Play *new and improved* Democrat Debate Bingo with friends
and family on Sunday night, while watching the Democrat Debate. There are now over 100 phrases well worn phrases used by the Democrats and see how many you can get right! Get some friends or play alone, get some prizes or just see what you know."

"100 well worn phrases" is the new spin. Alert the media to the spam posing as opinion

12. Here's my reply.
"That's a pretty stupid article you wrote there. Speaking of tired old cliches, how about Republicans whining about tired old cliches all the time and ignoring reality.

In 2000, Bush was against big spending Democrats. Since 2001, Bush has grown the Federal govt faster than any President in history, even excluding military spending, war spending, and terrorism spending.

In 2000, Bush was against nation building. Since 2001, Bush has attempted to rebuild two countries from scratch, all on the taxpayer dime. Or actually, on my children's dime, since rich assholes like Bush would never think of actually making any monetary sacrifice to fund the 'war on terror'. He sure as hell doesn't mind letting lose their lives or having their legs blown off, but damnit, don't expect him to pay an extra nickel to fund veterans benefits or pay for body armor.

Christ, you friggin Republicans would eat shit and call it steak if Bush, Rush, or Ahnold told you to."
