Republicans have very low standard when it comes to economic growth

They like to use the Poppy Bush standard. If we can get a good growth period just before the election, then we are successful. It appears that Junior is planning on the same strategy. Forget about the 3 years and 3 quarters that he has demolished every shred of the good economy that we had, if he can just get that one quarter of good growth then he is a success! Don't judge him on what he has done - judge him on what he says he is going to do in the future. Uh-huh...
