WTF? So far, four Jessica Lynch rescuers have died
Petty Officer First Class David M. Tapper died of wounds received in Afghanistan.

Lance Cpl. Sok Khak Ung was killed in a drive-by shooting.

Spc Josh Daniel Speer died when his car went over an embankment for no apparent reason.

Kyle Edward Williams, who worked in the same company as Lynch, died of "suicide".

This is getting really weird.....someone doesn't want the truth to come out about Jessica.

2. No surprises there
Of course the Busheviks don't want light shone upon the Lynch rescue. It was an odious piece of Free-Market Stalinist propaganda, an insult to the intelligence, and clear proof of just how Orwellian the Bushevik Propaganda machine has become, emboldened by success.

If any of the Marines in the Task Force 123? that rescued Jessica are thinking of talking, be careful!

3. Is that last one
one of her rescuers or just someone from her same company?
I'm extremely skeptical of this "conspiracy."

On Edit: four of Pfc. Lynch's rescuers and colleagues have met an early demise.

Tapper was "shot in the back during an ambush," per the Philly Inquirer. Doesn't say who did it.

7. Because there's
no real reason anyone would do this.
No one cares about the Lynch story. No one would kill anyone over it.

14. sorry! heh..but to think noone has anything to lose...
Just read the ad, "The Rescue that Inspired a Nation"

Sure NBC and the bush cronies would love this Rescue to be real, because its just another giant piece in the propaganda machine.

Just the fact that it says, "Based on a TRUE story", whose truth? The Ministry of Truth's truth?

19. I'd be interested to hear if any of these dead men were written in?
prior to their deaths?

or will this movie have a trick ending where none of them are even mentioned??

11. This is 4 Out of About How Many?
I had the impression the group that was ambushed was small, so four would be a huge proportion. But "company" sounds a lot bigger. I'm not a military person, and I don't know the size of a company, or this company in particular.

17. 4 out of 8-what are the odds?
my friend is the grand aunt of one of the 8 soldiers involved in the rescue. She doesn't really associate with his family (mafia rumors) but she got the word out that he should watch his back.

12. What about the babysitter whoÉ

was rolled over by her own car?

I havenÕt heard anything about this in the news.

Actually, I havenÕt heard anything about the mysterious deaths of Jessica LynchÕs rescuers either.

Thank goodness for the net and DU.

13. Weird that anyone would bother since we already know the truth anyway
Deployed military have been writing in lots of letters to Stripes to complain about the Bushies over-inflating her valor.

15. Shot himself in the chest?
Edited on Mon Oct-27-03 03:46 PM by spindoctor
I am no expert on suicide, but why shoot yourself in the chest? That is risking a delayed and painful death as opposed to a shot through the brain, the more classical method.

He might have been charged with murder, but what judge would convict a man for defending his beer? ;)

To answer a question that was brought up, my old company had about 50 soldiers all together. A company is defined as a self-supporting unit. The number of men in a company can differ greatly. It can have anywhere between 2 and 5 platoons, depending on its task. A platoon has 10 - 20 men.

From a conspiracy perspective, it does not matter how many people were in her company, it matters how many people in her company are willing to talk.

As for the myth surrounding the poor girl, I thought that was sufficiently dealt with in various articles in newspapers all over in May of this year.

16. This is no conspiracy- it doesn't make sense.
We've all read the story behind the Jessica Lynch "rescue". It was in the Guardian, and other papers, right out in the bright light of day. Nobody CARED.

Why would anyone commit murder to coverup something that the public is determined to ignore anyway?

20. And I believe the guy who died in afghanistan
was part of the "decoy" attack, not the actual rescue.

Still, at what point do the authorities start looking in to this?
