POLL: Marine Times - Clark leads Dumbya and other candidates
Edited on Mon Oct-27-03 05:53 PM by Best_man23
This is from the website for Marine Times, the newspaper of the Marine Corps. Their current poll is "If you were going to vote for president right now, which candidate would you support?"

Copy and paste the link into your browser to see the results.

For those not able to get there, Clark was leading Dumbya by about 10%.

3. Why the hell do we always hear how the military loves Republicans?
It's obviously a flat out lie. I wonder whose ballots they were counting in Florida in 2000.

4. No, it isn't.
The military rank-and-file has been a Republican bastion since right about Vietnam; the military leadership has been Republican for longer than that. If the wrong candidate gets nominated, the Repubs will get most of the military vote yet again.

5. And the troops
haven't taken it in the shorts this bad since 'Nam. They know their benefits are being eroded while they sit in the shit. What I've read leads me to believe that morale is as bad as it was back in the day. And it goes double for the reservists.

GWB can't take the military vote for granted. He'll need all the help Diebold can give him.
