Nature tells us to COOPERATE with each other so as to SURVIVE
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 09:26 AM by opihimoimoi
so why are we fighting each other and wasting vast amount of resources??

Are we that addicted to adrenolin? That the rush we get from watching death and destruction in TV Wars is a FIX? Almost like the rush we get when the Chargers make a 84 yard pass touchdown..??

EH!! BUSH, ***Its supposed to be a WAR ON IGNORANCE!!***

*sigh* It could be so much fun if Humanity got its act together. but no, we cannot shuck the ignorance that keeps us apart.

Come, let them fight, let us make luaus, make merry, eat drink, laugh. Let us do the fun thing.... while we can.

18. I wish I could...
But I'm afraid it's not in the cards right now. Some day, though.

Mahalo... and I'll be sure to let you know when the opportunity arises. :)

In the meantime, fantasizing about those soft Hawaiian breezes is lovely while we're suffocating under smoky San Diego skies!

3. Making luau is hard work but well worth the effort.
So too is the task of turning this "Cannibal Galaxy" into the "Co-op Galaxy".

Hard work but well worth the effort.

12. We are here as a result of evolution.
our brains are very emotional given to wrong headed decisions at any moment.

Mostly due to fear or addiction to adrenolin rushes.

Somehow, we must conquer fear thru education.

Fear 254, The Understanding of Fear and How its Used to Control the Masses

Courses like this are largely missing from our high schools and Universities.

6. If it's fun Gawd will get you for it!
Gawd wants us to kill people so that Bush's daddy, James Baker III, and the Saudi Royal family can one day own and rule the world!

Come, we go see what happened to the red men when they trusted the great white fathers of old!

11. No, nature tells us to cooperate with each other if it favors us
Watch pre-school kids trying to "share" a neat toy.

Humans are selfish and cruel by nature.

14. By cooperation we can together build more "neat toys" for all to share.
we should be looking for ways to accomplish this rather than dominate by force/arm twisting

15. I'm talking base human nature, not reason
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 12:08 PM by Loonman
Cooperation is reasonable and rational. Humans for the most part are not reasonable and rational. 90% of human actions are emotionally based, not rationally based.

20. Man...
I can't begin to imagine the society we could make if everyone spoke the same language...and no one believed in dogmatic religions...

(sigh) We might actually have been able to live in a peaceful, clean, well-fed, healthy world.
