Did anyone watch Lou Dobbs last night?

I noticed while Lou was interviewing Bernard Kerik, former NYC police chief, that Mr. Kerik is President of Giuliani & Kerik? Is this old news and I'm just out of the loop? Talk about cashing in on 911! $400,000 per trainer in Iraq; they have to be making money hand over fist!

5. I was not impressed, unfortunately

I really like Clark and have been following him for a long time....but, I'm beginning to wonder.I really had high hopes for his candidacy but he seems to speak in platitudes and I want more; I find that lately, I keep wanting to put words in his mouth! And forget the debates, he never gets a chance to answer anything but attacks. I haven't given up, but I expect more from my candidate.

7. In all fairness

I think that segment was heavily edited. I thought that when I watched it the first time. When I saw the repeat, it was pretty obvious that many of Clark's comments were cut.

WTF? What are they getting? A Harvard degree in patrolling? For that price, they better be.

3. Yes, I saw him. It's unbelievable the cronyism and money being made here.

Influence peddling, all the rest of it. Kerik also said it would take 18 Months to train enough Police to replace the troops in Iraq. Lou kept asking him over and over about the 27 Billion in Grant for Iraq, because Kerik was saying the Senate had to vote for the money immediately. Lou asked him if all the 27 Billion would go for Police training, and Kerik wouldn't give him a straight answer about exactly how much would go for Police Training. He was there as operative for Bush.

Can you imagine that much money for Police training in most American Cities?

4. They are. And Kerik is back here to work on Bush's election.

This election is not going to be the cakewalk many think. They control most of the media and will have a quarter billion to sell their tales and wage war against our nominee.

To counter Giuliani and Kerik in the imagery department, though, we have the Firefighters who endorsed Kerry. I don't think many other voices will cut through louder than the firefighters on that playing field.
