Saw Ah-nold talking to some firemen ~ He smirks just like Bush*
He smirked through his quick question and answer session by reporter and said Bush* had already declared California a disaster area and money was already being sent so people could start rebuilding their homes. I thought Congress controlled the purse strings. How could Bush* send money without Congress approval?

1. sending money to rebuild homes
I didn't think the government ever did this. I'm not aware that they ever have, even in cases of earthquakes, etc. Floods, under the government insurance, are a different story. Isn't rebuilding bomes a private insuror's responsibility?

Arnold is about as qualified for office as *.

3. Well "they" was Ah-nold and he said Bush* not FEMA
I just posted what Ah-nold said in his hurried interview. He had a big shit-eating grin on his face and said very emphatically that Bush* was sending money right away. I believe that FEMA is the agency that will be in charge but that isn't what Ah-nold said.

7. I question rebuilding homes in a fire-prone area...
...seems much like rebuilding in a flood plain (which FEMA will not finance any more).

A painful subject right now, given that over 1000 families have lost their homes, but I think it need to be addressed.

Richardo <-- lives in flood plain.
