Walmart segment on Daily Show last night... |
|
Did anybody else catch this? Jon manageg to sum up all the evils of Walmart in one three minute segment. The best part (icing on the cake) was the bit about Ed working for Walmart. The implication being that the way things are going, we are ALL going to end up there.
Also... The playing of the Darth Vader theme in the segment on the bridge that was reopened in Iraq just about killed me. If I hadn't already been sitting on the floor, I would have fallen on to it.

It helps me get through the week. I am always so afraid for Jon and his guys though. He hits it right on the head most of the time. We can only hope that the Repugs are too ignorant to understand satire.

where I'm visiting, there is no cable so I am in Daily Show withdrawal. Along w/ the internet, it is my main news source also. If it isn't absurd enough 4 the Daily Show 2 comment or highlight, it isn't news.
