LA: "I think you were painting with a broad brush, but what I would like to say is you again keep bringing up 9/11 in the context of the war with Iraq, and Bush himself has stated that 'No, we've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th,' so why do you keep bringing up September 11th?"

BO: "Because it's all part of the global war on terror, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada."

At this point, I've mysteriously gone silent while he gets to spin to his heart's content.

I applaude your fortitude, but frankly don't know why you bother with these rightwing call in shows. The guy at the mic has all the power even if he is one tenth your intellect or debating ability. That's the way it's set up. Junkie Limbaugh was another case in point - if he ever got a serious challenge from a caller, he'd start talking over him while gradually potting him down, making it appear as some sort of "victory".

Have you noticed that Limbaugh NEVER exposed himself to a debate format in which he couldn't control the opposition? O'Lielly won't either. That's because they can't pass muster in fair fight.

I think that Dean supporters need things in Iraq to get worse or not improve in order to win, but otherwise that's completely untrue.

As a fellow Edwards supporter, it just made my blood boil that he can say that about democrats. Of course, he and all the other whores are investing in the hopes of a Dean nomination anyway.
