I particularly like the 14-point thing about fascism at the end. Scary how accurate it is.

1. Good for Karl! And he's right about the wealth acquisition.
Kevin Phillips in "Wealth and Democracy" describes the same thing. Every war has brought a great accumulation of wealth for certain individuals and their companies.

They are the parasites of war.

4. Great quote from Abraham Lincoln too!
"...Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in the hands of a few, and the Republic is destroyed."

7. Good to see at least some thinking people in Curt Weldon's district!
I used to live in the area myself for a year -- right by the intersection of Garrett Road and Lansdowne Avenue.

This piece really hits the nail on the head. Amazing how we've gotten to the point that anything that speaks any sort of reason is now considered "fringe leftist" behavior. :eyes:
