Bush Doesn't Take Responsibility for "Mission Accomplished"
I just saw him try to escape responsibility for the Mission Accomplished banner on ABC News.

They were showing the press conference. He was stumbling over his words: "Uhhh, I didn't put that sign up. The folks from the USS (can't remember the naem) felt their mission was accomplished."

Now, am I mistaken, or didn't pResident dipshit tour the country saying 'Mission Accomplished'? Once again, those Repugs show themselves to be the party of personal responsibility.

1. There were sailors from the USS Abraham Lincoln at our Clark
MeetUp, and they said they felt absolutely disgusted with Bush for doing that. Wonder how they're feeling now.

3. Next thing you know...
Bush will be asking, "How did the troops get to Iraq? I might have pointed at a map sorta one day, but they did that ALL on their own."

5. Seems like Bush suffers from premature exaltation
I wonder if he has the same problem in other areas of his life...

7. But since he wasn't under oath
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 07:15 PM by DoYouEverWonder
the repugs will say it doesn't matter.

Only lying about an extra-marital affair while you're under oath matters.

8. Yeah, well you should have heard the question
that prompted his denial. The reporter asked him if he was ready to admit his pronouncement on the deck of the carrier was premature. The questions were very pointed. I was encouraged.

9. I think the Moron and Thief must have lost a half million votes
with that fiasco of a press conference. That is if any but pro-Puke votes actually get counted.
