Another Bush LIE on the evening news!!!

Today, in front of several press members the president told another lie. Bush stated that the "Mission Accomplished" banner hoisted on the USS Abraham (pardon me if I have the incorrect name of the vessel)during his May 1st address was put there by the service men and women of the USS Abraham and the banner was intended to convey the message that the men and women of the USS Abraham had completed their mission. Even though of course the president was announcing the end of major combat operations.

Another reason I believe this is a lie is because, "how long have people expressed their disagreement with that banner as our men and women are still being killed daily?"

NOW, the administration is saying it had nothing to do with that banner? C'mon!!!

I believe MWO needs to start an e-mail campaign to FOX, NBC, etc.

when either bush or ari were asked (I think it was bush): "on the carrier, you indicated by banner...mission accomplished....does it seem like mission is accomplished?" Something like that......

And Bush asnwered.....and explained something about the diff before and after baghdad fell...blah blah blah.

That's when he would have said.....I don't know what that dang banner was about!

Bill Press mentioned it while Pat Buchanan tried to change the subject. Press quoted the Defense Dept. as saying, "The sign was in fact produced by the White House".
The problem is that Republicans have been getting away with lies for so long, and their lies have gone unchallenged for so long, that they think they can get away with any old lie.
