1. There has been such a shortage of fire crews compared to the number of

fires that today they finally had to let some of these firefighters rest and the result was less crews to fight the fires.

Throughout the state there are approximately 10,000 fighting fires.

I went camping there as a child a lot and it was one of our favorite places.

9. What this all means later is BADASS mudslides on the first significant

rainfall. The shrub is what stops the hill from turning to mud...look for some big sympathy for millionaires and their endangered homes at the first drop of water in winter.

look like a minor event. Remember those - throughout the region (especially in the tony areas just south of SF on skyline drive area) - big homes, slide down cliffs. Further south the highway even washed out just south of Big Sur.

the hills just came down and washed right into town...it was a mess!

14. Actually Garamendi got elected on the strength of his actions after

Chuck Quakenbush totally fucked up on Northridge...Garamendi will be very active in making sure consumers are protected. Insurance issues were a MAJOR reason Dems were able to get back in control of the state.

If anything, Arnie will have to take an anti-Repuke tack or ruin himself real fast.

A nice little lake with a general store and diner. It was a nice little getaway, about 40 minute drive from San Diego.
What a shame it in ashes now.
