OK - I'm trying on the tin hat.
Today - I read the last news article of many lately, describing how the WH continues to obstruct and delay turning over intelligence memos detailing events leading up to 9/11.

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20031028/D7UFEG502.html

And they still declare that their reasons for war were valid - and even if the weren't the result were good, or whatever. And they do this day after day while the stark evidence of their failure on all these accounts is irrefutable. But still they go on - wailing pitifully into the gathering storm.

The only way this makes any sense to me now is if there's something in those memos that could destroy this whole criminal administration and turn the pukes out of congress by the dozens.

Maybe MIHOP is where that s**tstorm is really headed.

MIHOP! I lived 6 blocks from the Trade Centers and he will pay for what he did to NYC, America, and the world.

MIHOP is approaching...I hope and hope and hope.

3. What about the energy policy documents that Cheney has arrogantly
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 09:33 PM by Oracle
refused to release, even under a court ordered subpoena. Not until after the election (2004) if at all.

We know without evening seeing the documents, that Enron, Halliburton, the, oil, coal, nuclear and lumber industries came up with our US energy policy.

Republican corporations who donate to the republican party, exploit, pollute and receive tax cuts from this same admistration.

That's why Cheney won't release the doucuments, it would indeed be a moumental scandal, considering the blackouts, Enron in CA, war for oil, pipelines, NOT renewing the super fund, policy of cutting trees in our national forest to "prevent" fires, West Virginia votes for coal, nuclear power plants, etc...

9-11 certainly camouflaged all the concerns about the energy policy documents and allowed BushCO to go full speed ahead.

10. What if Cheney said at one of those meetings . .
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 09:47 PM by msmcghee
. .

Moving on . . in appreciation for your loyal support and help during the recent election. I'm about to give you some valuable, highly classified information.

Sometimes, when world events are unfolding in a way that you know will lead to war, it's better to do so under your own conditions - and not allow your enemies the advantage of an initial move of their own choosing.

In that regard I can tell with certainty that the US will suffer a serious terrorist attack sometime during the next few months. Whatever form this attack may take - this administration will act immediately to implement military plans we are fine tuning at this moment. We will move first against Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. Within a few months we will have Iran surrounded and will have virtual control of 70% of the world's known reserves of oil.

Assuming you trust in this certainty - I know you'll want to start immediately mobilizing and planning to take avantage of this historic opportunity. Naturally, the companies represented in this room will have exclusive access to the major federal dollars that will be flowing into our rebuilding and pacification efforts. You will be the exclusive prime contractors on hundreds of billions of dollars in no-bid government contracts.

That's pretty much it. Of course you should not repeat this to anyone, ever. Because there's a downside. Others may discover or suspect that we were involved or knew about this attack before it occurred - or that we failed to prevent it. It is a major risk but we deem it worthwhile. In any case our rewards will far exceed the costs - no matter how great they become.

But many will not see it that way. We expect a fierce political firestorm directed against us and our goals. For this reason, the money we spent on the last election was nothing compared with what it will probably take next time. So, while you are gearing up your companies' operations - you can all start gearing up your monthly payments. As before, we prefer you pay through your respective RNC, executive branch, communications account manager.

I read these comments from this paper. I wrote it all down so that I would say exactly what I intended and leave nothing out. As you can see, I am now feeding this single copy through this classified materials shredder. There are no other copies.

Thank you for your time.

I know, it's a little dramatic - but possible. :eyes:

This is how they would go about it.

We're talking about a "commission" headed by the lying greedy pig Cheney.

13. Sure! I've always thought that! That's why
Cheney's all but eaten those documents and why he'll never show them.

Makes perfect sense to me.

And you will find that it matches just about any outfit you wear.

Personally, I never take off my tinfoil, especially when I am sleeping or in the shower (that's when they get you).

I told someone on 9-11 that the Bushistas had a role in it.

It's gotten clearer by the day ever since.

9. This is it:
everything we've learned since that day - everything - points to foreknowledge and complicity. And while millions of Americans still cannot conceive that their own government would wilfully fail to protect them, regardless of the benefit to itself, they can recognize a cover up when they see one.

Tinfoil's de rigeur with a Bush in office. As I said elsewhere today, conspiracy theory is nothing more than pattern recognition.

14. "conspiracy theory is nothing more than pattern recognition"
Exactly. I am NOT a conspiracy theorist. I am a rational, realistic, skeptical person.

And as soon as you start looking into this stuff, you realize that the most BOGUS explanation for these events is the official story!

The "official stories" just don't make any sense! They don't add up, they lack all the basic requirements for fact. The motivation isn't there, basic cause and affect isn't there, the evidence isn't even there ....

I am obsessed with finding out the truth about all of this. I think there are very few people who actually know what it is.

But I sure hope it comes out and doesn't end up like the frugging Kennedy Assassination where my grandchildren sit around and speculate ad infinitum. I hope to god it doesn't go down as one of the great mysteries of our time.

WAR NOTEBOOK
U.S. got report on Iraqi oil in '01

WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney's energy task force had some interest in early 2001 in Iraq's oil industry, including which foreign companies were pursuing business there, according to documents a watchdog group released Friday.

Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, obtained task force-related Commerce Department papers including a detailed map of Iraq's oil fields, terminals and pipelines, as well as a list titled "Foreign Suitors of Iraqi Oilfield Contracts." The papers also included a map of oil fields and pipelines in Saudi Arabia and in the United Arab Emirates, plus a list of oil and gas development projects in those two countries.

The papers were dated early March 2001, about two months before the Cheney energy task force completed and announced its report on the administration's energy needs and future energy agenda. -- ASSOCIATED PRESS
