anyone catch the video clip of * on ABC news last night?
it was clip of his "press conference"

one reporter asked him about bringing troops home ...

whistleass (now known as Baghdad Bush) said "..that's a trick question, I won't answer that...."

1. That's not right
It is a valid question that deserves an answer. I am sick of Bush already. He needs to be humbled.

5. OK, Get Ready To Flame But...
Yep, it was a "gotcha" question as it was asking the doofus to go on record, in front of a worldwide audience to PROMISE (the key word)...there's no way any politician worth his salt will ever do such a blanket up or down on the spur of the moment. Put the shoe on the other foot and I think you'd support the premise that the question was meant to entrap and * was actually smart in calling the reporter's bluff.

That said, he handled it like an oaf. His snide response showed contempt and an evil side his handlers work hard not to let show. There were several of those bits...including the shot at the radio reporter and his testy demeanor. I loved the spin that he was being "combative", while it was obvious he was a hurt little boy who was caught in a lie and was throwing a tantrum...as always, it's not the lie, it's being caught. And, as usual, no acceptance of any responsibility whatsoever.

6. agree it was a "gotcha" question
but it was also apparent from his response that he didn't have his tap dancing shoes on

Most people watching it would be unaware that the question was a gotcha and would take his refusal as either having no plan to bring the troops home, or he doesn't care

8. This is *, not Fred Astaire
Why do you think this boy is so scripted. Letterman is having a field day with those "unscripted moments"...always a nice ending to my day now.

It's obvious this regime had no strategy after the second Dubya pushed the button that started this invasion (that wonderful missed missile attack on Saddam Vol. 1) and he's totally clueless as to what will happen next. In short, he's a victim of circumstances...and not I think he's expecting others, as usual to bail him out.

If this bastard had the least bit of compassion about our brave men and women, he'd show up at a funeral or visit a VA hospital with the growing number of returning "rehabs". And now they're cutting off any media reporting at Dover? That says more to me about how callous this bastard and his cabal is than anything.

7. Other blurbs from that speech
"If you dont have a question, make one up"
when he mentioned lunch, a reporter asked if they were invited he replied"depends on your question" and then after asked a tough question "your not comeing to lunch"

Also when asked about withholding the 9/11 doccuments, he went off on a tangent about the presidential brief, wich means he had info about 9/11 beforehand, that it appeared in his brief
