Regarding Sharpton and Gephardt.....
I'm personally disgusted at Sharpton's "race-baiting" tactic----this is an example of how desperate Sharpton is to get face time in the newspapers. Sadly, a black candidate like Sharpton all has to do is call the other candidate "anti-black" in order to get in the newspapers. This is a despicable tactic.

Another use of a despicable tactic is Gephardt's calling Dean the equivalent of Bush. I can't wait for the Dean team to start airing possible ads showing Gephardt in the rose garden with Bush. Gephardt has done absolutely nothing for Medicare---all he's done is talked the talk, but hasn't walked the walk.

I'm glad that he'll possibly win only one state: Iowa, and fade away like he did the last time he ran for President.

2. I expected more from Sharpton
especially after he's come out on the debates this year chiding other Democrats for attacking each other. I thought he had some class, but this last attack on Dean was lower than any of the other attacks made by Dean or anyone else this season, imo.

Gephardt, well, he's been willing to "stand by" Bush both literally and figuratively, so I'm not surprised in the least.

3. *nod*
so much for his telling the Dems in the debate not to attack each other. What a fraud----when his campaign is being threatened by Jesse Jackson Jr's endorsement of Dean, he has to pull this tactic.

4. I had to teach that night
and only caught the Daily Show update on the debates, which was both hysterically funny and astute at delineating the follibles of the various candidates. The random Sharpton quote that I thought summed up Ms. Brawley's Advocate best was something to the extent of "You can't grow oranges with a watermelon seed." Can someone clue me into the context of that weirdness? Geppy was referred to by the DS analyst as "Powder," and he seemed particularly desperate talking endlessly about his "ideas!"

(Sidebar: Slink, I have the crushiest crush on you. sigh.)

7. The Janeaneness of you.
The picture of you in sepia with the hat tilted sideways that just says tired, sardonic and sexy all at once. Your sense of humor, the fact that the hottie hott-hott mom is a clear indicator that you'll keep your looks for a loooooong time, the fact that you remind me of my friend Cara who turned tail and ran years ago after a particularly intense kiss that I had no idea was a goodbye to the other side of the world without an explanation, leaving me to always wonder, and my feeling that if I were telling you this list in person I could suddenly make wakka-wakka 70's porn movie music sounds while referencing your medicine-for-your-finger post and you would laugh heartily, getting it immediately, and maybe even making some soundtrack sounds yourself. And the fact that I can float all this out to you thru Cyberspace and never have to do the hard work of telling you in person. The fact that you make me want to fake a Tommy Lee Jones accent and call you "Darlin'..." and because I have to wonder if you're what Deb's daughter would've turn out like if she hadn't gotten in that car with a drunk Texas driver a few years back, during prom season.

Hoping you're not a cat person...xo

8. nope, not a cat person....
I have a severe allergy to cats, so I'm a dog person instead. Does this place me higher on your esteem since my self-described procrastination? ;-)

I'm sorry that I remind you of Cara who mysteriously ran out on you. Women do have a tendency to cut and run for no reason. Since I'm bisexual, I've had my share with women that've become afraid of emotional attachments (oh, the irony) and detached themselves from the relationship. I've really never had that kind of problem with men.

You're rather a bit anonymous now---why don't you tell me more about yourself? :-)
