Dolphin massacre in Japan (very graphic)
Story

These kinds of stories make me ashamed to be a human being. :(

3. Drudge is speculating that they could be faked.
There is definatley something artificial looking about 'em. The red seems a little too contrived. Let's hope so. Opinions?

4. This "STUFF" is not faked

My marine biology work dishes me this information on a regular basis. It happens in Japan, Iceland, and Norway.

When I sometimes go on a rant and wish for the Yellowstone super-volcano to erupt which will cleanse the planet of 90% + of homo sapiens…..this is why.

These are Pilot whales being slaughtered.

5. OK - but those whales are in a few inches of water on shore
The dolphin pics are in feet of water - no way there is that much blood.

I'm not condoning it, I'm just not believing the dolphin pics.

6. I have seen blood spread across the entire water column
in other photos of cetacean kills within cove inlets, but I'll concede the brightness of the red could have been enhanced. I have also seen this kind of color difference when taking photos with Kodak film and Fuji film. Fuji shows brighter oranges/reds imho.
