CNN says this will be his theme. Once again, Bush comes with a canned answer. This would be the theme no matter what happened in Iraq. No matter what happens at all. It is like the tax cuts because of a surplus or because of a economic crisis. Wait until they come to NYC for the convention.

I guess they have to have some kind of campaign theme, though. A more honest one might be, "Resistance is futile. Bush in 2004 by any means necessary." I hope that's not true, either, of course, but I think it speaks better to their accomplishments and philosophy.
