I would like to thank the GOP Congressional members for...
rejecting in committee the stipulation that 10 billion dollars of the aid package to Iraq would be in loan form.

If the Democrats have half of a brain and can stay on message, we could potentially take back the house and senate on just this issue.

I have no data to prove out this hunch, but I recall the 87 billion dollar aid package being a HUGE issue with the electorate based on the research that Carville's group conducted.

2. Which is exactly why I issued my caveat...
This seems like such an easy win that you know the Democrats will "miss" it.

3. I dont think the masses are going to rally around this issue.
10 billion here, 80 billion there... With so many dislocations of funds, why is this any different?

4. I agree. The Imperial Subjects of Amerika are incapable of being roused
unless the TV tells them 12 times
tells them 12 times
tells them 12 times
tells them 12 times
tells them 12 times.

And Bushevik TV ain't talkin'. Plus, there are newer, fresher, atrocities, lies, theft and fraud to get upset about.

5. Why not loans?
Because this money is going to be laundered back directly to Bush corporate interests. If it was a loan, they'd have to pay it back.

Fleecing of the American taxpayer like I've never, ever seen.....
