And on TOP of fire and pestilence, tack on an earthquake in Los Angeles
A minor earthquake occurred at 23:44:48 (UTC) on Wednesday, October 29, 2003. The magnitude 3.7 event has been located in the GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA, CALIFORNIA. The hypocentral depth was estimated to be 5 km ( 3 miles). (This is a computer-generated message -- this event has not yet been reviewed by a seismologist.)

3.7 ain't nuthin'.

BUT.... small quakes like this sometimes presage larger quakes. THAT would be a fucking nightmare right now.

Not that we'd need a sensor to tell us if we're having one; we know.

first good storm to come, prolly mudslide all those roads out.
