Temporary Webhosting Needed ASAP -- For CBC documentary on 9/11

1. I'll have the video crunched in about 3 hours.

I'll try hosting it on GFP first, but the last few uploads I've tried only write as 0k, even if I've erased other files first to make room. Hopefully bpilgrim has figured out what else is gobbling up the space before I can write to it.

If someone else can host it (instead of or in addition to putting it on GFP) please PM me and I'll figure out how to get you the file.

on edit: They quicktime movie file will probably be about 150-200 M once it's crunched.

found Radio Left. http://www.radioleft.com/ They have web hosting. I wonder if this might be something for us to look into for the future. It isn't free ut they have a section for non-profit organizations.

I don't know anything about this organization as I'm listening for the first time. Sounds interesting.

Seriously, though, I think I've found a temporary solution even if gfp still isn't working. GBnC said that I can use his campaign site to host it until the end of the month or until his 2 G monthly bandwidth quota gets used up for October, whichever comes first.

Once it's up there maybe someone else could mirror it as well?

As far as I know these are totally free. I had started up my own site with tripod a while back but never completely finished it.

17. Well that doesn't help

I have X amount of bandwidth per month. I would have to be able to calculate how much I'm using now with how much your project would use, etc. I can't have my server shut down or run up bandwidth costs that I can't afford to volunteer for your project. Just forget I said anything, been down this nowhere road too many times.
