General Gridlock
In all likelihood, the next Executive will be forced to deal with a Republican Legislative Branch. How does Clark, a career military officer used to having orders followed, manage to effectively achieve his goals with a hostile branch? Clinton was able to work the hostility to his own advantage due to his unparalleled political skills. Where can we find any indication that Clark has those same skills?

1. Answer: you are an informed person, right?
As such, you know, or should know that NO FOUR STAR GENERAL is lacking in superior political skills.

Bill Clinton only had to deal with a bunch of relatively primative rednecks in the Arkansas Legislature, and one of the things that turned me against him was a video I saw on CASPAN that showed Clinton campaigning somewhere in Arkansas...and the boy was YELLING AT (speaking down, to) a bunch of timber workers. Not a pretty scene, and hardly the kind of sophisticated political skills one needs to get to the top of the huge Defense Department/U.S. Congressional/U.S.Army/NATO bureauracy.

General Clark's political skills are no doubt superior to those of Bill Clinton.

BTW - name some the things Clinton accomplished that make life BETTER for you and me, and everyone else traveling the dark journey with us.

Go ahead; there's plenty of room to post a long message here at DU.
