(Background: this compares the fires from here to what's going on in Iraq-and mentions how one of them started here, thanks to a hunter who lit a flare in the middle of a Santa Ana. Please read and let him know what you think. Thanks.)
The Fire : San Diego and Elsewhere.
red light through the drapes the air silent silty seas yellow orange skies surround a red orange eye ashes fall covering the house the ground my lungs making nuclear winter on my windshield making night time all day long looking through and breathing in the grey specks of someone or someone’s home or someone’s lifelong dreams burnt to a cinder ironic that when a house burns down the chimney's all that's left
now i know how you feel stuck overseas @ the end of the world protecting corporate interests making the apocalypse occur every day for the last year all for oil to burn making the grey specks of someone fall someone’s home burn someone’s lifelong dreams fade into ashes
the lost hunters try to save their lives by lighting signal fires and burn more than they expect
