Bush's No Tree Left Behind Act

The guys at Radio Left http://www.radioleft.com/ were talking about the 'compromise' on the "Healthy Forest Act that will allow the destructive bill to pass. One of them called it the 'No Tree Left Behind Act'.

Pretty funny. And sad.

The fires had alot to do with the momementum that sparked the agreement. My problem with the Act is that the loggers can cut down prohibited trees to build a road to the allowed trees, like in the case of the beetle infested stands. The roads are permanent and devastating. Just what the tree killers want. Foot in the door.
