that's why the manufactured bump in the economy. To snooker shoppers into spending money thinking things are getting better. No gloom and doom while retailers need good seasons!

5. Look, I work in retail |
|
I know that some DUers--as they did last Christmas--will tell people not to go shopping. However, there are people who are dependent on those low wage jobs--me, specifically--who resent others trying to cost us our jobs.

7. Are you liking your job? |
|
I so hope you're happy!! I have a friend who was an appliance salesman for Sears his entire life. His wife was a teacher. They raised 3 awesome kids and did quite nice for themselves. So retail may not be the highest paying job right now, but if you're good at it, you may be able to make enough to have a comfortable life eventually!

6. I already heard #$%^&* Christmas music in Sears yesterday |
|
All I wanted to do was get a friggin' car battery before the old one left me stranded. The Muzak system was already playing butchered secular Christmas tunes on October 29.
It gets a little earlier every year.

If you shop on-line and want to see a new face in the White House after 2004, check out
I hate to be commercial, but if folks are going to buy stuff, we might as well use the money to good purpose.
