Come on, Dems, support your energized anti-war base...
When will the Dems just appeal to their anti-war base?

You know, the hard-core liberal base: the VFW, the troops in Iraq, the ex-CIA, military, families of the troops (including the soccer moms and Nascar dads) who want to bring them home? Not to mention the sick and unemployed and traffic-bound who want some of that $87 billion spent here.

It's about time the Dems realized that unless they energize this part of their base, they are doomed. Its about time the Dems stopped placating the extreme right-wing who are still pro-war.

Won't the Dems be satisfied to win by a mere landslide of 55%-45%?

Maybe they think that because of Diebold they need 70% of the vote, so they must appeal to the Fundies and Freepers and NeoconNazis.

Forget that fringe 30%, stick to your base 60%.

2. you need to get out of your echo chamber
about or almost half of democrat voters supported and continue to support the regime change, which would put all of them according to you in the extreme right wing

That's nonsense. Maybe they are right and maybe they are wrong, time will tell. But you don't get to classify someone who disagrees with you on a foriegn policy issue on the other side of the political spectrum or out of the base.

3. not quite
Preventive invasion is extreme on its merits. That, and not a different political position than the arguer, is the basis for assigning extremism. We need not wait for time to tell when we have solid facts and reason right now.

So I guess it's not nonsense after all.
