Wesley Clark email message of the day - October 31
I subscribe to Wesley Clark's email messages. Here is the latest:

Dear Friend,

Happy Halloween! I hope you are enjoying yourself on this lighthearted holiday.

But even as we celebrate, I can't help but recall a recent example of "dressing up" that still
galls me. When George W. Bush had the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln -- an aircraft carrier with a full
crew onboard -- waste time and money turning circles off of San Diego so he could put a flight
suit on for a "photo op," I realized just how far off track this administration has taken us.

In less than three years, George W. Bush has presided over the loss of 3.2 million American
jobs, turned a record surplus into a record deficit, and misled this country into a war that
will cost us untold amounts of blood and treasure.

This has to stop before more damage is done.

That is why I am running for President of the United States. I have a plan to put Americans
back to work, to balance the budget, and to provide affordable health care for 30 million
uninsured Americans.

Moreover, I am the only candidate with the leadership and the experience to truly declare
"mission accomplished" in Iraq and provide a clear plan for the future of the Iraqi people.

Please help me get our country back on the right track today by making a contribution to my
campaign at http://action.clark04.com/ctt.asp?u=1486586&l=7553 (an individual may contribute up
to a total of $2000 with personal funds).

As you've probably read, our campaign is off to a great start, and we have accomplished much
during these first six weeks. But to take it to the next level and win the nomination, we still
need millions of dollars to compete with other candidates who have literally been raising money
for years.

Will you make a donation of $20 today? Your contribution will help us reach our October
fund-raising goal which is an essential next step to winning this race. Please visit
http://action.clark04.com/ctt.asp?u=1486586&l=7554 to make a secure online donation and learn
more about my vision for America.

Thank you for your support. Together, we can build an America where every citizen can enjoy
living the promise of freedom.

Sincerely,

Wes Clark

P.S. Please make your contribution today at http://action.clark04.com/ctt.asp?u=1486586&l=7555
to help us reach our October fund-raising goal and make an important difference in our fight for
America's future.

If you'd like to mail in your contribution, visit
http://action.clark04.com/ctt.asp?u=1486586&l=7556, download a contribution form, and mail your
donation to Clark for President, P.O. Box 2959, Little Rock, AR 72203.

1. that's the ticket!
It's the surplus-to-defecit transition that we have to pound on. The GDP numbers may continue to play in *'s favor, but this deficit can only grow.

3. Gave what I could.
I knew Admirals and Generals when I was in the service, and Boykin is an abberrition.

Most of them were sharp cookies, and were like cheap toilet paper (they wouldn't take no shit of NOBODY.)

I'll support any Democrat that gets nominated, but as time goes on, I hope more and more that it's Clark.

4. applause for Clark
He seems to be issuing great statements on big issues in timely manner and getting back to rallying his troops via the internet like the DraftClark folks did.

Maybe the General has told some of the pros who have led him astray to sit down, shut-up and take some orders. :-)

Can you guess I want to see a Doctor and a General on our Dem ticket?? Unbeatable IMO.

Is responsible for internet operations. He is the one who ran draftwesleyclark.com. I have met John a couple times. He is a cool geeky guy, but he is smart.
