Channel surfed "religious" shows this morning. Copeland was calling the Democratic Party rascist. His proof?.... The 1860 Democratic Party platform! I wonder if the IRS will ever investigate these "tax-free" religious shows for mixing politics and God! Doesn't that pull their tax exemption? Repukes are attacking on a broad front... a sign of desperation?

I remember telling one during the Clinton impeachment saga, that Larry Flynt was more honorable than Ken Starr, because he was at least honest about being a pornographer.

I truly believe that America is going to see this yuk party for what it is. They are not going to be able to hide behind their so-called Christian and family values platform and yet desimate the poor and neediest among us. They have forgotten what Christianity really is and there will be a special place in HELL for many of them.

They're beleagued. They feel culture is working against them. They use one another to hold back the inevitable. If they ever succeeded they would lose. They know that they can't allow the state to criminalize abortion. They know they can't force homosexuals back in the closet. They know they can't send African Americans back to the back of the bus. They know they can't permit the unregulated proliferation of weapons of any kind to any one. These are all purely symbolic cultural wedge issues which serve no other purpose than to con converts into believing they speak for god.
