Dennis Miller to get his own nightly prime-time dem-bashing show.

Who the fuck would be so stupid to hire this guy? One, he's not funny. Two, he is so biased, nothing he says can be taken at face value. And three, he's ugly as shit. How can anyone possibly think he can make money for NBC?

2. This will die

Eh, I think this will last about as long as any other biased Republican TV show. Remember Limbaugh's? No, of course you don't. Conservatives simply aren't funny, don't ask me why. Miller is a national joke, everyone knows he's not entertaining. I predict the show will fail very quickly and will be fodder for Leno, Letterman, and O'Brien.

3. Actually, I hope he succeeds at least up to election 2004.
This will keep him from running for Senator against Senator Boxer in California.

4. He has failed in every position on TV
Why would it be any different here?

Ignore it. Real Republicans hate him becasue they can still see the cokestains on his upper lip. Becasue of SNL, he'll always be a liberal to them no matter how much Bush ass he kisses. He's a phoney, and will do them little good in the end.

Let's Fair and Balance him out of existence. All liberals should go on his show and kick his skinny white ass. He's such a substanceless wussy f*** it would be so easy...

6. Why can't liberals get shows like this?
Edited on Fri Oct-31-03 01:15 PM by livinontheedge
The more exposure wingnuts get, the more the wingnut message gets out, the more idiots accept the wingnut message. Our message, on the contrary, keeps getting drowned out.

7. He was funny once.
That's part of what makes his persona now so sad.

Also, he was not-horrible in his debut on "Boston Public." What he needs nowadays is for someone else to write his material. 9/11 apparently scrambled his brain.

8. Fuck that guy.
He should stick with what he's good at (or used to be good at): telling jokes that go over the heads of half the public, and smirking because he knows that they don't get it.

Let's hope that he's as successful at his new career as Joe Piscopo was at body-building.

14. I watch CNBC!
Edited on Sat Nov-01-03 05:35 PM by lysergik
Everyday, all day or atleast until the market has closed.

Dennis Miller used to be funny, then I don't know what happened.. Monday Night Football I guess..

Anyhow, intelligent minds watch CNBC, they have a fairly good mix of commentary with no media BS you get from other outlets. I don't see Miller's snide Dem-bashing lasting very long because he just isn't mind provoking, he's just boring and loudmouthed.
