Zig Zag Zell's announcement that he is not only endorsing Bush* for election (not re-election :-) ) but is prepared to campaign for the Chimp puts him beyond the pale once and for all.

Lyndon LaRouche claims to be a Dem. Does that make him one? Well, neither is Zell, any longer.

5. that's easy. In addition to the Southern DINOs, just look at a list of

those Dems who always blindly support Sharon/Israel, and take copious amounts of money from AIPAC. The obvious ones, are DiFi, Lieberman, Schumer, Clinton, etc, etc. Almost without exception, they have voted to support everything Israel wants, whether it was war in Iraq, Syrian sanctions, billions in aid, or this $87B boondoggle.

Israel is pushing for its passage, because it no doubt contains money for a possible invasion of Syria, and besides, Israel is now getting free oil from Iraq, and that want that to keep it flowing.

Those Dems supporting this bill, and the others I mentioned, are directly, and indirectly, supporting PNAC/Sharon/Bush, and are helping Bush's "re-election", by giving him tools to improve his position, and to possibly start still another war. Why would Dems do that? Their allegiance to Israel's needs and wants, are betraying our nation.

I would think that most of those senators would vote for it again. The only senators that voted no were:

Kennedy
Kerry
Edwards
Lautenberg
Sarbanes
Byrd
Harkin
Hollings
Leahy
Graham

I would guess that a few others would vote no because the loan provision was stripped from the bill, but that won't be many.

They now have to vote on the conference report. A few could change their mind. I think that the list above of possible changes is pretty good. But, most senate democrats will vote for it. Most democratic congressmen though did vote against it over in the House of Representatives.

14. There won't be a vote

The New York Times is reporting that there won't be an actual roll call vote on the final version. Instead there will be a voice vote so that we don't actually know how the senators would really vote. Outrageous!!!!

WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 — The largest emergency spending bill in the nation's history, pilloried for two months by opponents as too generous to Iraq, is quietly moving toward final Congressional approval on Monday as an almost complete victory for President Bush.

Shortly after midnight on Friday morning, the House approved the $87.5 billion bill for Iraq and Afghanistan on a vote of 298 to 121. Senate leaders said their chamber would approve the bill on a unanimous voice vote on Monday, indicating that despite lingering concerns Democrats no longer feel there is any point in casting a symbolic vote against it. The bill will then go to the president for his signature.
