Ed Meese: 'Reprobate' Ted Kennedy Should Have Been Censured
This cracked me up. This blasting took place on Hannity's radio show the other day, which just makes it more ironic.

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2003/11/11/191735.shtml

"The worst thing that I've seen in Washington in a long time was Teddy Kennedy - that reprobate (
Note: that's an Ad Hominem attack Sean Hannity, you know the kind of attack you always accuse Liberals of using) - standing on the floor of the Senate and calling President Bush a liar, and nothing happened ," Meese told radio host Sean Hannity, who was broadcasting from the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C.

The Reagan administration's top lawman continued:

snip

"It's unbelievable that anybody would make that claim," said Meese, adding, "particularly when it was a president of his party that actually did launch missiles against a pharmaceutical house in Sudan in order to cover up the liaison with Monica Lewinsky."

Um Ed, first you are mad that Kennedy is accusing the President of lying, then you go out and claim CLinton bombed a terrorist target to wag the dog. Isn't that a pretty serious charge Ed? What do you think Sean? Oh yeah and I do recall Bob Dornan and Bob Barr and Jesse Helms taking some pretty nasty potshots at President Clinton while in Congress. Actually they were hysterical outbursts, meltdons are more like it. Man these people crack me up.

1. Ed Meese is a rank amateur whore
unindicted co-conspirator. He is a screaming idiot who only made it in life because he attached his lips to Reagan's ass and never let go.

2. I wish they cracked me up.
But the most disturbing thing is that they can go on their little tirades and have a wonderful set of double standards, and not see one bit of hypocrisy in their actions.

3. Ed Meese
The original John Ashcroft. It is so depressing to see these crooks from Reagan-Bush showing up all over the place. I sure did think they were gone for good in 1992. This guy should be in jail.

5. Yeah, and the president and vice president you served should
have been tried for high treason. How do you like that, Ed "Pigface" Meese?

8. Not just an ad-hominem attack...
While secular readers may see "reprobate" as just a somewhat old-fashioned personal insult (on a par with "scoundrel," say), the fundies that form the Repug backbone know the real meaning, which is, in accordance with Calvinist theology, someone who has been predestined to Hell. In other words, someone whom God decided, before they were born, to condemn to everlasting damnation, no matter what their actions in life might be. Why? Because God is all-powerful, and humans cannot question his actions, so, if he arbitrarily decides that someone, no matter how good a life they turn out to lead, must wind up in the eternal fires, we have no right to question that decision.

So, in short, what Meese is saying is little different from those Branch Fredphelpsians who picket the funerals of AIDS patients with signs like "Another b*ttf*ck*r burns in Hell."

:puke:

9. good point
"Reprobate" gets thrown around a lot these days, but it's a really heavy duty insult. If someone called me that publically, I would be very, very pissed off.

Kennedy should demand an apology.

..awhile back who wanted special trial proceedings for "porn peddlers" (read that, anyone who printed something that made his ass crawl)?

I will never forget that shriveled mug, missing only a Puritan hat and a banged up New Testament.
