Above Pic From The GOOP
"WASHINGTON (Nov. 17) — Escalating violence in Iraq and growing public unease triggered by mounting American deaths there have eroded President Bush's personal and job approval ratings in the past several months. They're at or near the lowest points measured since he took office, a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll shows. ...
... with an economic recovery still struggling to emerge and an uncertain postwar picture, the public is reassessing previous conclusions about Bush as a man and as a leader.
• 50% approve of the job he is doing; 47% disapprove.
That equals the lowest approval and highest disapproval of his presidency, hit in late September, when the post-combat phase of the Iraqi operation worsened and terrorist attacks escalated."

3. I keep saying that.... |

How does it feel to be one of about 10 people who acutally believe it?
The same damned thing happened in 1972.

8. Let's not jump the gun |
|
Let's first concentrate on beating Nixon in '68 before we start looking ahead to '72.

4. An Unfortunate Observation |
|
When Bush's popularity falls, he starts a war. October could be a very stormy month.

9. So then everyone needs to lie to the pollsters and say they approve |
|
of Bush's handling of everything.
Then come November of 2004, when one's say counts for real, vote him out.
How's that for a plan!
:silly:
