NARRATOR: The sea of humanity crossed the Thames (huge bridge) twice, and flowed right through the heart of government in Westminster and Whitehall. As the first protestors finished, the last were still starting out on the route....

BBC CORRESPONDENT, TO CAMERA (in the crowd): Looking around at this sea of faces, two things are perfectly clear:

1. This is a massive turnout for a march on a weekday.
2. The people taking part are of all ages and all sections of society.

(interviews with people follow + a police acknowledgement there has been virtually zero violence + pictures of Bush being toppled)
