Repubs have no spending control without Clinton at the helm...
They are spending us into oblivion. These are the same Repubs who took credit for balancing the budget when Clinton was in office. It wasn't Clinton's doing, they said. It was the Repub Congress that was elected in 1994. Well, we have the same Repub Congress today. What happened? The only difference I see is that we have a Repub in the White House who this Congress has supported every inch of the way. Next year, we are looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 billion deficits. How soon they fall apart without real leadership to guide them. Conservatives, they call themselves. Yeah. Uh-huh.

1. spending
prior fiscal year 2002---$6,228,235,965,597.16
2003---$6,783,231,012,743.62
difference $ 554,995,097,146.62
and guess what---that does not even include the 500+ billion current account deficit---best that i can figure it, we are spending somewhere in excess of $1,000,000,000,000 (trillion)dollars a year more than what we take in in taxes----someone tell us where it all ends :eyes:

4. For years
We've been listening to Republicans scream about pork-barrel government spending... now, we need to fight back with the same vigor they did during the 70s, 80s and 90s.
