Re: there are now 100,000+ more Dean MeetUpers than Clark MeetUpers
Okay, that's it! You know, I'm on the record that whoever gets the nod from the Dempcratic Party for 2004, I'm working my butt off for, I'm giving my $2000, etc, etc, etc. . .

That's from an independent who has seen the error of his centrist ways and wants to see real change.

2. ??"That's it"??

It ain't over 'til it's over.

Candidates have been getting elected for two hundred years without meet-ups, you know. No one knows what relationship there may be between meet-up attendance and primary votes. Of course Dean supporters are encouraged by their meet-up numbers but the rest of us shouldn't be discouraged. A lot of people will make the time to vote who would never have the time or inclination to participate in meet-ups.

In your primary or caucus, vote for the candidate you believe is the best of all, who may not be the one ahead in the polls or with the best meet-up numbers.

In November 2004, follow Harry Truman's advice,

"Vote for the best man -- he will be the Democrat."
