The mentality we fight against... (Ann Coulter quote)
"Even if corners were cut, (Iran-Contra) was a brilliant scheme. There is no possibility that anyone in any Democratic administration would have gone to such lengths to fund anti-Communist forces. When Democrats scheme from the White House, it's to cover up the President's affair with an intern. When Republicans scheme, it's to support embattled anti-Communist freedom fighters sold out by the Democrats." -- Ann Coulter, P. 179 (Treason)

In other words - when Republican Presidents "scheme" - they go all out and break laws that undermine the government. They don't just mess around like the Democrats.

I take some comfort from continuing court battles, setbacks to GOP plans, and the increasing volume of backlash against bush and his band of bastards.

3. "brilliant scheme"???
Clinton spent 8 years cleaning up the mess that Reagan/Bush made by arming terrorists, and that whore calls it a "brilliant scheme"???

No, Ann, when Republicans scheme, it's to sell out the very principals of America for a goddamned dollar!

4. The Contras
The entire Contra episode is a perfect example of state-sponsored terrorism.

The Sandanistas were elected in an open and free election, supervised by our democratic, European allies. However, we instructed the oppostion forces to sit out the election. They chose not to vote.

We then denounced the regime, and embarked on a campaign of violence to sway or intimidate the Sandanista supporters through intimidation.

By any fair or reasonable interpretation of the meaning of terrorist, Ronald Reagan, Bush Sr. et al are morally and legally indistinguishable from Osama bin Laden, with the possible exception that vastly greater numbers of civilians were killed in Central America.

We don't even need to discuss the 60s and 70s in South America and Kissinger and Nixon, now do we?

5. Yeah, you fund one of the "axis of evil" in the process.
In addition to supplying the Iraqis with CHEMICAL WEAPONS, you ship hundreds of weapons to Iran, which to this day is regarded as a sponsor of terrorism. Then you lie about it.

You support fighters in Central America, in direct violation of U.S. law, and then lie about it and destroy what evidence you can.

You claim that you do not negotiate with terrorists or trade arms for hostages, but you do both and lie about it.

You claim a reputation for being tough on terror but yank troops out of danger when the terrorists do attack.

You count on people being A) ignorant of your record or B) being your little toadies and sycophants to cover up your mendacity, stupidity, short-sightedness, and the like.

And that's what Coulter is promoting. "Evil" just doesn't do justice as an adjective when applied to her, does it?

6. Eh, who REALLY cares about breaking the law?
When it's such a NEAT idea (Oliver North's words, not mine) to support ultra right wing "contras" who would overthrow, and correct me if I'm wrong, a DEMOCRATICALLY elected government in El Salvador?

Ann Coulter is completely fucking insane.

Since it's a testimony to the illogical. It's not a mentality were up against in Ann Coulter, it's a mental condition.

10. The Iran-Contra was a crime
It is a crime to operate a secret sub-government hidden from Congress and the owners of this country - the American citizens.

It is a crime to override diplomatic, political, economic policies of this country and manipulate the intelligence dirty work along with the military who supplied the weapons.

There is no doubt that two Presidents of our country committed a crime along with all the henchmen and women - Condaleeza Rice for one.

This suberted and criminal act is an insult to Americans and the world.

Therefore, Ann Coulter favors crime as do all the other players who are alive and still defending it as a great American manuever.

Watergate was nothing compared to the Iran-Contra dirty trick and criminal actions on us.

Their crimes keep getting worse.

13. Not baffling at all
Bushevik Capos, like the Nazis before them are worshipped unconditionally by their propagandized followers.

Ollie North = Bushevik Capo = unconditionally worshipped by followers

Heinrich Himmler = Nazi Fieldmarschall = unconditionally worshipped by followers

And while our Bushesviks, having learned from the PR blunders of Grandpa Prescott Bush's business parters, are "kinder and gentler" than the Nazis, their propaganda structure and therefore the nature of thei followers is very similar.

15. Felons are curiously revered in this country.
Witness the treatment accorded to G. Gordon Liddy and Ronald Reagan. Heck, look at the way Henry Kissinger is treated. You would think they were a bunch of saints.

And it's going to get worse. They practically want Reagan enshrined. There's an actual project to name something after the old sinner in every state in the union. I am not kidding.

12. Yes, "Their crimes keep getting worse."
Indeed. And now that the Imperial Subjects of Amerika are regarded almost as lowly as the Invaded and Occupied Iraqis, as the 1970s Chileans, as the 1950s Costa Ricans or the 1950s Iranians...

...well, let's just say it's only a matter of time before the other shoe drops.

18. It's just there way of covering up
They are obsessed with history and the way they will be analyzed. Most of the Clinton character assassination was all about even-ing the playing field and trying to balance the disdain that people feel for Nixon. Some of them let the cat out of the bag on their unending appearances on cable facilitated by Murdoch, GE, and AOL=Time Warner.

Watch and listen - they are obsessed with correcting history. ANN does it every day.

The number #1 person behind the canonization of Reagan is a partner with Saudi Arabians who are behind the funding of the terrorists and the no tax/flat tax - this countries own..... Grover Norquist.

16. Ann Cunter doesn't know that our invasion helped communism
I've seen this in other reports, how our invading Iraq actually helped the communists and increased their numbers in Iraq, but it's summarized fairly well here. This is another of the "dirty little secrets" the RW refuses to acknowledge.

http://www.rationalrevolution.net/communism_in_iraq.htm

"What is a significant, and mostly overlooked, aspect of the Iraqi political landscape is the relatively strong revolutionary communist parties in Iraq. As one of the most highly educated countries in the Middle East Iraq has been a breeding ground for Marxists since the days of Kassem. The Ba'ath Party came to power with American approval precisely because they were an anti-Communist organization, and have taken strong action to fight Communists in Iraq over the years. The Communists of Iraq have historically presented some of the strongest opposition to the Saddam regime.

Now that Iraq has been trampled by 12 years of sanctions Iraq is in the position that Cuba was in when Castro took control of Cuba, with nowhere to go but up. This means that if a democratic communist party took a significant role in Iraq with the fall of Saddam that America could be looking at a new rise of communism.

Of course many will say that this is doubtful and that I’m stretching here. Possibly, secular communism would certainly have a hard time against the rising Islamic tides in the Middle East, but a religiously tolerant communist system really would not have a hard time."

While the "Lewinsky Affair was bad for our country." Yeah- this is tired old crap. The idea that the ends justifies the means is so central to these conservative kooks like Coulter and Bush.

... but these days we don't side with everyone just because they claim to be fighting (gasp!) Communists! How come is that? Well, we've found out the hard way that a whole lot of people out there fighting Communists are Fascists. Fascists that are a lot like Miss Annie, BTW.
