"Enid Live" on streaming audio now
http://www.knrcradio.com/hostsgoldstein.asp

A good show, today. She's talking abut Neil Bush and other juicy topics. Something about Rush coming upo soon.

Local people here in Denver calling and giving this liberal a hard time. So, some support would be great. She's about our only liberal on local radio in Denver. She comes on after O'Reilly, Monday thru Friday - noon to 3 Mtn Time.

1. And if you missed the show...
... you can listen to the archived version at http://www.WhiteRoseSociety.org/ for the next three weeks.

2. How's White Rose doing, btw?
Hope you're hanging in okay! I heard you call in last night on Peter's program.

3. Doing really good!
Thanks for asking!

We made the donations target for November, and I even found a six-week contract for some actual pay-the-non-website-bills income.

Since the site launched last year, we've had about a third of a million visitors who have each downloaded one or more shows. (I don't get good statistics from the web hosting I use, and the page counter only shows me each visit, not how many files they got while they were there. Also, some people manage to have browsers that don't work right with the page counter, and I don't get counts for them.) I figure at this point we are at about a million hours of audio served, and the rate is increasing regularly.

I have been adding shows in recent months, and hope to add more in the near future.

4. Good news!
Congratulations! Things are looking good with your give-or-take stats. I was surprised that you also gathered Enid programs since she's in Denver - not a big market. But there are so few libs on the air, I'm glad you give her the space.

5. Exactly BECAUSE she is in a small market, actually!
I see White Rose as being the means whereby liberal talkers can be heard beyond the confines of the single market or tiny syndication network they broadcast to.

If a show were in a dozen major markets, I would see very little reason to host it on The White Rose. First, they would have their own resources for putting together an archive, and Second, I'd rather give my time to somebody who has something to say the isn't being heard.

I cannot by myself level the playing field, but perhaps I can change the slope by a degree or two.
