Need some advice quick, need to get dorm nieghbor sober

My friend who lives across the hall from me is going to get kicked out if she keeps missing classes, and now she just got back from clubbing like an hour ago and wants to go to sleep

She ate some percocet, will coffee make here more or less high?

I know somebody's gotta have advice.

1. Do you know how to get in touch with her parents?

I think they could lay down some ultimatums for her and if that isn't sufficient intervention could be involved.

Class starts at 9, and it's a little walk away

She said that she didn't want to go to class stoned, I'm just asking if coffee will make it better or worse(like, if it will clear her head up)

she's not a drug addict, but in this particular morning class, she's missed like 4 out of the last 6 times

and even if you wake her up, she won't sober up till she sobers up-- there's no magic bullet. And she'll fall asleep later and miss more classes.

And she'll do it again.

Sorry, but the problem isn't getting her to that class, the problem is getting her to all the classes, and that's a real problem.

Serious intervention is called for, and the help has to be local. I hope someone can help before it's too late.

If she is taking prescription narcotics for 'fun', and then missing class or whatever as a result, she DOES have a 'drug problem'. She doesn't have to be addicted to have a problem, and she needs professional intervention.

she isn't a druggy, she and her friends just got some percocets last night while they were clubbing. But they didn't have morning classes

my main point of posting this was to find out if coffee will sober her up enough so that she can attend class, or if caffiene will make it worse

Alcohol in the body can only be processes at a certain rate through the liver and noting will change that for the better.
Your best bet is to let her sleep it off and face the consequences of here actions and hopefully not make the same mistakes yourself.

Your friend should take responsibilty and pay the consequences for her actions. It is people like her that give drugs a bad name.

Alchohol and other drugs have to be processed by the liver. They process at the same rate of speed no matter what you do. You can do things to make them her more alert - like consuming caffeine or whatever. But she is going to be as high as she is for as long as it takes for the drugs to leave her system.

She may need to see a counselor.

How can anyone here know if this girl's friend is drunk on alcohol or in a stupor from the percocet? We can't. Advice on prescription drug abuse needs to come from professionals.

If she took more than 5 Percosets, get her to an emergency room fast. Each Percoset contains the equivalent of a regular-strength tylenol; mixing that with alcohol is an agonizing form of suicide-by-liver-failure that can only be prevented in the first 4 to 24 hours.
