Hey Soros Want To Get Bush Out - Buy MSNBC
At DU we have been ranting for several years now about how little coverage the major media gives to the scandalous events surrounding this sorry ass Resident and his stormtrooper administration. It is so damned obvious to us, but it is not yet that obvious to Joe Average American, who is still conditioned to believe everything he sees on t.v. without any questions.

If George Soros or any other group of activist multi millionaires or billionaires really want to make a quantum change in the way Americans think, they need to buy a major media outlet that will truly be "fair and balanced". Only then will we get the other majors to be more unbiased and objective in their reporting. If it is one thing that the media hates, it is being outscooped on major new stories. Right now it is honor among thieves in the media world, a sort of don't ask - don't tell policy that is stifling any kind of real investigative journalism and bottling up stories that might be detrimental to the self proclaimed king.

Perhaps those with connection to the folks at Moveon.org could exert some pressure to lobby good old Georgie and his wealthy buds to think in this direction. Hey if we can't beat them let's join them. Then we can beat their frickin brains out.

1. Hmmm that might not last long
the right wing nuts could easily boycott the station into oblivion ala CBS Reagan style and the white house can stifle any reporting that may actually take place.

What america needs is a media outlet locked in an untouchable tax trust fund with the guarantee to have at least 1 seat at every press conference.

2. MSNBC has been sabotaging itself IMHO
If you are a high rated show you get canned at
that station .

Every Business Decision made has been to
destoy itself .

That's the only conclusion I can come to .

I bet it could be bought for a very reasonable price
considering it ranks the lowest out of the 3 cable
news channels .

3. GOP won't sell MSNBC. The whole NBC franchise is a propagandist's dream.
Jack Welch is basically still calling the shots there and his horse is Bush. Russert and Matthews are his mouthpieces.

4. I don't think it makes much money, but then ads cover alot. MSNBC would
be a great candidate for a "Liberal Mogul with Bucks" to buy! GE has CNBC to Pump the Economy for Bush and they just bought another company with more cable outlets.

BUY MSNBC! E-Mail Soros!

6. I think this is a fabulous idea but I'd rather see Soros by one of the
three major networks.

8. A democracy cannot properly function without a free press/media
It is a supreme insult when the Russian newspaper Pravda is critical of our media bias. How's that for a turnaround.
