1. Less than 5%
Frankly, I don't really see any real liberals elected to office in this country. Every elected official is a conservative, IMO. Just varying degrees of conservatism.

3. I'd like to know your definition of Liberal
To me, it sounds like you think liberal means left-wing fringe?

I think around 30-40% of Dems are "liberals"

The rest are moderates/centrists with a few conservatives thrown in.

4. If any elected official does corporate bidding,
they're conservative. Period.

They can take all the money they want from corporations, but corporations shouldn't have as much of a syllable's input on the running of this country. And that sadly happens far too often.

5. Barbara Lee
Don't you only Barbara Lee and Maxine Waters can be "real" Democrats? Everyone else is a DINO.

9. I bet Hannity idolizes Father Coughin too
Hannity, Coughin, and O'Reilly make me embarassed about being part Irish but the Kennedy family overrules them and the many other Irish dems make those 3 chumps look like mere specks.

11. Yes but the people I consider conservative site their being "pro-choice"
as proof that they are progressive. Hell, my Republican Aunt is "pro-choice." Even at Du some of our members who hate the left say they are "pro-abortion," as if that is the only stance that determines what a Liberal believes. (Note: the use of pro-abortion is is a quote and not the wording I use.) And most of them seem to support the same ex-Republican candidate.
