Which candidate stands to suffer the most from the "rebounding

economy"? By the look of things the economy will be in a full "upswing" by spring...personally, I'll never believe it during an election year and I have my own reasons why this "so-called recovery" is happening, but if that were to be really be true, who stands to suffer the most?

It's an election year so I'm feeling extremely skeptical of all the "blossoming good-will" this administration is trying to shove in our face. However, with that said, it still remains a burr under a sadle when it rubs boil since many are running their campaigns on the poor economy.

So who stands to feel it the most?

1. Dean but

the rebound won't be felt by the ordinary person who has lost their job. The jobs aren't coming back in 2004.

Edited to add: Therefore, although it will seem like Dean (because he is running on fiscal responsiblity) Dean will be able to reach out to those voters and show them how they were left out of the recovery.

are being "boosted up" by the media, but you have a point. The average person still looking for a job will not feel this "so-called rebound."

Good point. However, never underestimate the dirty tricks this administration will do to "prop" up the numbers. They still have alot up their sleeves.

3. All of them !

Iam very skepital of any economic #'s being put out , however with bushes huge amount of $ for his re-election ,the ability to twist and bend the truth in the media, spoon feeding the American public propaganda that apprently and sadly many Americans take as the spoken word. I believe a improvement in any of the areas that bush is doing poorly in can only hurt anyone going up against him .That means all of the Dems trying to take his place in the white house !

If everything he is criticizing Bush on all of a sudden becomes 'better', than it's likely people will be less apt to change horses in mid-stream. I don't see how the economy could be on an upswing and feel there is some manipulation going on. It simply doesn't make sense. The people who are benefitting most from Bush's pandering to the millionaire/billionaire corporations are going to make sure there is nothing but good news until the next election.
