They want to bring up Vince Foster--AGAIN!!!
High court to hear arguments on Vince Foster police photos

December 3, 2003

BY GILLIAN FLACCUS

LOS ANGELES -- Five government investigations concluded White House attorney Vincent Foster's death in 1993 was a suicide. But Allan Favish, a Clinton antagonist from Southern California, suspects murder and is demanding to see 10 of the police photos.

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether to release those photographs, in a potentially precedent-setting case pitting the public's right to know against the Foster family's privacy. The family does not want the pictures of the body released.

1. Oh for God's sake....what a bunch of Clinton Haters!!! They must be
scared shitless that Hillary will get drafted into the race...although I hope she doesn't; I don't think most of the country is ready for a female prez, and there is still obviously too much backlash against the Clintons at this point...
I'd vote for her in a heartbeat though...

2. To be honest
The right wing obsession with the death of Vince Foster is no different than the left wing obsession with the death of Paul Wellstone.

6. Who's Paul Wellstone?
Just kidding! Still, I don't think that a beloved Congressman and some guy nobody knew about until after he was dead can compare.

I don't think people will be talking about Paul's death much in ten years (but I hope I'm wrong).

7. Yes it is different.
Paul Wellstone's death did not spawn at least three government investigations, at a cost of probably millions of dollars. See, Wellstone was a Dem. They are not as important as pursuing Bill and/or Hillary.

9. Oh really! ~ How many independent councils have been appointed
to investigate Paul's death? There were at least two that I know of for Foster. How much air time has been given about Wellstone's death? More about his funeral than his death I would venture but Vince Foster is still being talked about in the Media and it is over a decade later. I think there is quite a bit of difference myself.

3. Oh for fucks sake!
Ken Starr, the right wing Scaife puppet son of a bitch who spent $70 million in taxpayer dollars to investigate a fucking BLOWJOB even said that Vince Foster killed himself. Isn't that enough for these morans?? :eyes:

4. Didn't he Court just decide this?
In the Earnhardt case? That the dead DO have a right to privacy, and that's why the autopsy photos couldn't be released?

8. They sure did - and here we are 10 years
later still on Vince Foster - the family will never be allowed to get over this - let alone the country.

5. Oh so suddenly the right LOVES the FOIA (at least in this case)
The outcome could increase the government's ability to withhold information from the public and the media, said Jane Kirtley, a media ethics and law professor at the University of Minnesota who filed a brief in support of Favish.

Interesting issue this brings up though.

This is such BS. This Favish clown is just trying to keep it in the headlines so as to create an urban legend. He must have support from the four sisters or some other Repube ATM or he couldn't take this up to the Supreme court.

Five investigations huh? If there was ANYTHING to this Starr would have followed it up.
