Where does the money for Shrub's fund raising
campaign come from? Obviously, it costs money to do these things. How are they paid for? Taxpayer, RNC, bush for pres campaign funds??

Is all of it privately funded or are our tax dollars helping him get re-selected?

1. Presidents have always used the office to...
help pay campaign costs. The rules allow them to schedule official trips and fund raisers concurrently. That way they can fly in on Air Force One and do an official visit (ribbon cutting, speech, etc.) then fund raise.

Its one of those double edged swords though. If legislation were enacted to stop it, then all future presidents would be similarly hobbled. The president would have to schedule things to happen in seperate locations so he could prove the seperation of ewxpenses.

I work on a contract for the federal government and we have this problem. Our contract requires that our company vehicles be used only for official purposes. If we are ten miles from the office and right next to a restaurant in one of the company vehicles at lunch time, we have to drive back to the office get our own cars and go to lunch. If the work we were doing is not done we then come back to the office change vehicles again and go back to the job. The transport time is all company time!!
