8. It was a great performance....
"I not running to bash Bush, I'm running to replace him."

"The American Flag does not belong to the Republican Party"

"No Tom Delay or John Ashcroft or George W. Bush is going to take this flag away from us."

13. Yea thats the first time I heard
that phrase, its a very smart way of dealing with a divisive issue. How long till other candidates borrow that line I wonder...:bounce:

12. Nice
The "bashing" has been turned up a notch.
Dean questions what Bush knew, Kerry calls Bush dangerously incompetent, and now this!

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!

14. so, why was Clark still fundraising for the GOP in 2001?
... and praising members of the Bush team while doing it?

15. Because we weren't in a civil war
And there was no indication that Americans wanted a civil war.

So the vast majority of people in the United States tried to make the best of it. You put on a happy face, cross your fingers, pray -- do whatever it takes.

You know, a lot of Americans only recently learned the full extent of the fraud in 2000. I didn't realize how bad it was until "Harper's" excerpted Greg Palast's book. Even now, I bet less than half know what a theft it was.

16. ah, truth twisting worthy of dr goebbels
we both know you just lied. it is apparent that the truth to you is mere fashion to put on and remove upon a whim.

dude, you are the enemy every bit as much as bush. you are both grotesques ideologues who bugger the truth when it fits your fancy.

17. what is more important to you?
exposing Bush and getting him and his cabal out of office,

or

dividing the Democrats into squabbling factions because "your" candidate is not in the lead? (who is "your" candidate anyway?)

as a Dean supporter I can't praise Clark strongly enough for blunt remarks like this. I believe that Clark has adequately shown where his loyalties lie and I am satisfied that he is not a PNAC "plant" or even particularly a sympathizer. the voices of all of the candidates, of anyone who speaks out against the corruption, criminality, and slimy tactics of the current administration is AOK in my book.

18. He is doing great service to his country, by speaking out. Even better if
Edited on Thu Dec-04-03 07:48 AM by lostnfound
he would add the Republicans being willing to take away voting rights for about 100,000 blacks just to win the election.
