Captain Disciplined For Telling Superiors They Were Violating Army Policy
A local Army Reserve Captain spoke up to the Army in order to stop some of his troops from being deployed for a second or third time this year.

"Captain Steve McAlpin was disciplined several days ago for telling military superiors that they were violating army policy by activating some troops for a second or third time this year.

He is not allowed to speak to the media anymore about this issue without permission"

He wasn't allowed to be deployed with his troops who did go. Because of his actions some of his troops were given the option of not going.

"Captain McAlpin said, "If I were to let one of my soldiers go, and something were to happen to them, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life."

1. A man of conviction. The NeoCons don't like people like that.

2. A good man.
One soldier thanked her captain whom she said was her "ticket home."

He was concerned about his soldier's well-being, because he is closest to them (not the nutf*cks at the Pentagon). He sacrificed himself so that his soldiers, even if only a few, could go home and escape the horror in Iraq.

You are no longer able to speak your mind. I understand that this is the military, but he was pointing out that they were in the wrong by violating Army Policy.
